Canada is an immense country. It is very diverse in its people, its landscape, its climate and its way of life. However, Canadians do share the same important values. These values guide and influence much of our everyday life. These are values of pride, a belief in equality and diversity and respect for all individuals in society. Women, men, children and seniors are all equally respected in Canada. Canadians may be different from each other but it is these shared values that make Canada a friendly, caring, peace-loving and secure society in which to live.

Immigration Program
Immigration programs include three Main Canadian Immigration categories and other three Temporary Immigration Categories. The ‘Main Canadian Immigration categories’ are
Independent Skilled Class Category, Business Immigration Category, Family Class Category and the ‘Temporary Immigration Categories’ are Student Visa, Employment Authorization, Live-in Caregiver Category.

“Independent Skilled Class Category” is a point system. You must have to achieve a minimum of 67 points for permanent residence. Points are awarded by Age, Education, Languages, Occupation, Years of Experience, Family in Canada, and adaptability factors. Applicants are required to pass a medical examination, and meet financial requirements – proving that they can be successfully established in Canada. Candidates will be required to clear background or security checks. The Government of Canada publishes a list of specific occupations which have been graded and have determined occupations which are admissible. In order to apply for the “independent” or “skilled worker” category, you must be described in one of these occupations. These occupations also have specific educational and experience requirements which are described in the National Occupations Classification Manual.

“Business Immigration Category” promotes economic development and employment by attracting people with venture capital and entrepreneurial skills. Individuals with business/managerial experience having high net worth may apply under one of the following sub-categories Investor, Entrepreneur. An entrepreneur must have to establish a qualifying Canadian business in Canada and he has to show his progress report to immigration officials on regular basis during three-year period. Also, employment opportunities must be created for at least one Canadian citizen or permanent resident, other than the entrepreneur and/or their dependents.

“Family Class Category” in this a Canadian citizen or a permanent immigrant can sponsor his/her spouse, parents/grandparents, dependent child and orphaned brother, sister, nephew, niece or grandchild – if under the age of 22 and is unmarried. An applicant can also sponsor an adopted child under the age of 22 years, or a child who is orphaned, or placed with a Child Welfare authority for adoption. If the Sponsor has no relative (as described above) and no relative as a Canadian citizen, or permanent resident in Canada, they are eligible to sponsor one other relative. The sponsor has the responsibility to demonstrate the financial ability to provide basic requirements for living in Canada, if needed, for the individuals and dependents that are to be sponsored in the Family Class, for a specific number of years (presently 3 years for spouse and 10 years for all others). These requirements are eased while sponsoring a spouse and/or unmarried children less than 22 years of age. Canadian citizens living outside Canada can apply for sponsoring their spouse to Canada even when they live outside Canada. They should demonstrate they would join their spouse in Canada when he/she comes to Canada after sponsorship.

“Student Visa” An international student is a visitor who has been approved by a Canadian Immigration Officer or Visa Officer to study in Canada through acceptance letter from institution they plan to attend. The student authorization document identifis the level of study, and time period that the individual may study in Canada. The student must prove that they have sufficient financial resources to cover tuition and living costs, and satisfy to a Visa Officer that they plan to return home at the end of their studies. They may also be required to pass a medical examination.

International students are allowed to work in Canada only if it is an essential part of the program under study, Work in a field related to their studies- for a period of up to one year after completing their schooling, Graduate- assistant work, To meet financial requirements- when an existing source of funding is cut off through no fault of their own and Work on campus at the institution at which they are registered as full-time student.

“Employment Authorization” foreign individuals who desire to work temporarily in Canada must first have an approved job offer by local Human Resource Center (HRC) and an employment authorization, prior to arrival. If the job meets Canadian labor standards and cannot be filled by a qualified Canadian, the HRC may approve the job offer. Upon receipt of a HRC-approved offer, Visa Officials abroad will decide if the foreign worker qualifies for the employment authorization. They would assess health, character, security, job qualifications and other criteria. If an employment authorization is issued, it is valid only for a specified job, employer and specific period of time. Some jobs may not need approval, or require an employment authorization, if they are included in the list under special programs by the Government of Canada.

“Live-in Caregiver Category” if you have at least 10 + 2 education and are reasonably good in English so that you can manage in an unsupervised situation and have either Six months training as live-in caregiver or One year paid full time live-in caregiver experience in last 3 years. Canadian employer can apply for live-in caregiver category by just to prove their need and to prove that no Canadian was available for that position after advertising in newspapers. If the person works in Canada as live-in caregiver for 2 years, he/she is eligible to apply for Permanent Residence along with their family.

Not only that triggering sexual desire can be done visually, but also through the sound and messaging. This is why we can have a sex through the phone or chat. Any of communication media can be used for this purpose. Many people use this sex method with their partner because they are separated by distance or single men or anybody who wants to have a different sexual experiment.

Nowadays, we have various communication media. We can have a chat sex, phone sex, webcam sex, and many others. Where can we get the numbers of men or women who have the same intention as we have? Well, it is easy because on the interest, we can find numerous services that serve sex chat lines or sex phone membership. All we need to do is registering our name and we can create a profile or directly contact specific numbers.

On the internet, some adult phone sex websites are offering the facilities for free, but most of them are offering paid service. We have to be very selective on choosing the service so we can find the reliable and affordable service. We need a reliable service because some irresponsible services are not serving real girls.

Find Natural Healing Education in the United States and Canada. With a growing public movement towards noninvasive and natural healthcare, students today have a broad selection of natural healing education options. For starters, complementary and integrative medicine has made great strides in the medical community through ongoing research and trials. This is one of the many reasons why more and more patients are reaching to the natural healthcare sector for relief from common conditions and illnesses. This is also one of the main factors why there has been an uprising in natural healing education courses throughout the United States and in Canada.

Prospective students can now apply to a variety of natural healing education programs, which entail some of the most innovative and unique healthcare systems to date. For example, natural healing education programs include popular training in massage therapy, holistic healthcare, Reiki, reflexology, and herbal medicine.

Students entering a natural healing education in massage therapy gain hands-on training and knowledge in anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and sometimes, CPR and first aid. In more extensive natural healing education courses in massage therapy, candidates will be introduced to more advanced bodywork modalities like acupressure/Shiatsu, craniosacral therapy, geriatric massage, infant/prenatal massage, animal massage, and countless others. Natural healing education programs such as this one often result in a certificate and/or diploma; and depending in which State one resides, licensure may also be necessary.

Another great natural healing education course is holistic healthcare. While similar massage therapy modalities are taught in this program, additional training in homeopathic medicine, hydrotherapy, holistic health and wellness, iridology and herbology are also encompassed in this training program. Students who successfully complete this natural healing education course are awarded with a certificate and/or diploma.

A natural healing education program that includes Reiki as a course of study is usually one of the more condensed training programs. In this particular field, students are introduced to various metaphysical philosophies and practices, and the application of energy healing. Successful candidates who have achieved all required lessons earn various levels of Reiki certification.* (Reiki involves 4 levels of training.)

Reflexology, as a natural healing education program, is a course of study where students are taught to use the thumb, fingers and hands to apply pressure to specific reflex areas of the body to reduce stress and pain. While it is an ancient healing art, this natural healing education is quickly gaining leeway in the alternative medicine community.

Another fine natural healing education is herbal medicine. Today, natural and holistic healthcare schools offer herbal medicine as one of the foundational courses of study. More specifically, Naturopathic schools, Oriental medicine schools, and TCM colleges provide natural healing education in Chinese herbal medicine as part of their standard curriculums.

Overall, natural healing education programs are the perfect academic platform for those seeking careers in natural and holistic healthcare. Furthermore, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, there is an increased interest in alternative medicine and holistic healing, which means increased opportunities.

If you (or someone you know) are interested in finding natural healing education, let professional training within fast-growing industries like massage therapy, cosmetology, acupuncture, oriental medicine, Reiki, and others get you started! Explore career school programs near you.

Computer schools serve to provide education to people who wish to learn about computers and use them for their own specific purpose. Computer schools in Canada have many years of experience in providing focused, relevant career training. Such computer schools also offer diploma programs that include business administration, accounting, programming, networking and a wide variety of medical programs. Many people consider it wise to invest in computer education, as more and more jobs are dependent on the usage of computers.

The learning system in computer schools is based on two methods of training for adult learners. The first method allows instructors to provide lecture-based education. A competency-based training program provides applicable skill development for the chosen computer program. Computer schools in Canada are equipped with the latest software and hardware tools for students planning on joining various computer industries.

There are many computer schools in Canada that conduct evening classes. This is advantageous for those people who are working during the day or running a business. There are online computer classes as well for people who find it difficult to enroll in a computer school because of exorbitant fees or commuting difficulties.

A computer professional holds an important position in the technological world. Training at an accredited computer school enables people to take up several of the challenging tasks that the computer industry has to offer.

Employers are known to have a preference for hiring people from an accredited school. It is advisable for people to make sure that the course offered online or regular mode of study is recognized.

Computer schools in Canada have regular discussions and workshops that are organized to let students voice any doubts related to their field. Some schools in Canada also have industry experts on board that work to establish the reputation of the school. Such interactions may also open doors to job opportunities.

With the cost of post secondary education increasing, many students are looking for ways to reduce their own tuition costs. There are plenty of scholarships in Canada that are offered to deserving students. Scholarships give students the ability to attend some of the best colleges and universities that Canada has to offer.

Academic Scholarships
Academic scholarships are awarded to students who have achieved high academic grades. Each Canadian university offers these types of scholarships. A student usually has to achieve a grade point average of around 90% – 95%. There is usually no application to submit as the individual university or College determines the recipients. The amount awarded will vary from university to university.

Merit Scholarships
Merit scholarships are given to students based on a number of criteria such as community involvement, leadership qualities, and innovative skills. Judges receive the applications and determine the recipients. There are academic guidelines that have to be maintained. Each scholarship has its own set of requirements. Volunteer experience is an asset when applying for these scholarships.

Entrance Scholarships:
Each University awards their own entrance scholoarships. Requirements include excellent grades as well as merit criteria much like the requirements for a merit scholarship. Most receipients have an academic standing that is in the top 5% of their graduating classes. They are required to submit an application that is seperate from the University.

‘Automatic Consideration’ Scholarships in Canada
These type of scholarships are offered as awards and financial aid. Criteria can include outstanding grades, extra-curricular activities, and athletic achievements. There is no application required as there are entrance tests that are taken. The university will determine the scholarship recipient.

Prestigious Scholarships in Canada
There are a number of prestigious private and government scholarships awarded to Canadian students and students from other countries. A few of these renowned scholarships include:

- Cameco Corporation
- Alexander G. Bell Association for the Deaf
- Archives Society of Alberta
- Aboriginal Nurses Association of Canada
- Black Business & Professional Association

University and College Bursaries
There are also a wide range of bursaries offered by private donors, businesses, and organisations. Some bursaries are awarded for a particular area of study and others are for any field of study at a specified school. Bursaries are usually given to students with financial strains in an effort to help ease the burden. The amount awarded from a bursary will vary.

Bursaries can be offered at the beginning of the academic year or at different times throughout the school year. Examples of bursaries include:

- Association of BC Forest Professionals Bursaries
- Elmer Shaw Entrance Bursaries
- Anna Sorkomova Memorial Bursaries
- Voortman Cookies Bursaries

Where to look for Canadian Scholarships
Canadian scholarships can be found at various organisations and clubs such as sporting organizations and community groups, and employers and unions. For instance, if a student’s parents work at a big company or are members of a union, there is probably a scholarship for the employees’ children. Other places where one can get information on scholarships are websites such as scholarshipscanada and studentawards, a school’s guidance counsellor’s office, and a library.

Canada has some of the best colleges and universities in the world. Because of the country’s commitment to higher learning, there are many scholarships and bursaries available to students planning to further their education.

A great percentage of students while pursuing higher studies in various areas, feel the definite urge to take loans through different channels in order to cope up with the financial problems and they tend to pay it up with parts of their income from the job, after their graduation. However not all students are able to do the same. As some students can’t sustain the pressure or the amount is bit too much for them to pay up.

Some go bankrupt and some through different phases so as so that they become unable to pay up. The consolidation channel brings some relief to these category people providing some relatively easier considerations. With increased cases of bankruptcy of loan holders, many governments including Canadian government has sighted huge problems in giving loans to much number of students, which has resulted in increased level of amount of loan in the existing students who have already taken up loans.

Canada is known to have weaker economy and hence the jobs that its public and private sectors provide are relatively low-paid ones. Hence most of the students are not able to do justice to repayment of their bank loans and result in further problems. So in this case, consolidation is as told, comes to a rescue somehow.

It caters to that particular bunch of students who can afford to pay the entire amount of money but much after the stipulated period. Just that they need bit more time. So consolidation program takes care of this situation and gives the students with more grace time to pay back the entire amount much in student’s convenience canalizing all his loans in one pocket. So student loan consolidation is a better scheme than the other orthodox repayment methods for Canada.

Atlantis Water Slides In the city of Vernon BC. Atlantis is the Okanagan’s largest outdoor water slide park. Located just 5 km north of the city of Vernon, Atlantis has 10 water slides, and a fun tube ride called the River Riot. There’s also a gift shop and concession stand, a hot tub, mini-golf, arcade, and a large open picnic area with lots of grass. Pack your own lunch to avoid concession stand prices, and bring along sunscreen and plenty of water. If you need life jackets for young children, you can rent them there. This is one of our favorite summer vacation activities in the Okanagan. A day at Atlantis would cost a family of four about $60.

Rattlesnake Canyon In the town of Osoyoos BC. Rattlesnake Canyon is an outdoor themed amusement park with a number of fun rides, mini golf, go karts, bumper boats, a rock climbing wall, and an ever popular bungee tree. If you’re looking for some fun outdoors and off the lake, you can spend about 3 or 4 hours here, and kids really enjoy the park. There’s also a gift shop and ice cream parlor. Be sure take plenty of water. Osoyoos climate is desert like and summer days can be near 40C. The cost is about $20 per child for a set of 5 rides. Mini golf and go karts are extra.

Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory, about a 15 minute drive from the city of Penticton BC, is the largest astronomy observatory in Canada. Massive telescopes collect radio signals and waves from space where radio astronomers then study the magnetic fields in our galaxy, such as the Milky Way. This is an interesting tour for everyone, and kids especially enjoy going inside a demonstrative telescope on sight. Tours are inexpensive and take about 2 hours. You can take a packed lunch with you and sit outside at the picnic tables to eat. You need to park near the road/entrance and walk in to the actual buildings, which is about 600 meters. Press speaker buttons on the way in for interesting narratives about the observatory. It’s located about 16 km south of Penticton on White Lake Road. Signs are well marked so you can’t miss it.

Nk’Mip Desert & Cultural Center in Osoyoos BC offers an interesting look at Aboriginal history and culture in the Okanagan Valley. Located in the town of Osoyoos, at the Spirit Ridge Vineyard & Spa, the cultural center has extensive indoor and outdoor exhibits where kids and families enjoy learning about the desert ecosystem and wildlife. There is a special rattlesnake research program, that focuses on the endangered Western Rattlesnake. The facility offers guided tours throughout the summer, and also has special interpretive programs that rotate through the summer. Admission for a family of 4 is about $36. Kids 5 and under are free. They also offer all day passes, which is what you would need to see the entire center. Plan to spend several hours to get the most out of the programs.

Allan Brooks Nature Centre in the city of Vernon BC. The North Okanagan is situated in the Great Basin lowlands that extends up from the United States into south central British Columbia. In addition, the valley is protected from arctic weather by the surrounding mountains. Together, these factors create a unique climate, and diverse ecosystem and habitats including grassland and wetland species, unique only to this part of Canada. The Allan Brooks Nature Centre offers unique tours, exhibits, and programs for kids and families, that offers a fun and interesting look at the area. You can see 5 different ecosystems, and three lakes from some of the 19 points of interest along the walking tour alone. Take plenty to drink and a camera! Everyone should be sure to wear proper and protective footwear as a safety precaution against rattlesnakes and prickly pear cactus plants.

There are many more fun summer activities for kids and families in the Okanagan Valley Canada. Although summer when most people visit here, winter vacations are also great for families looking for affordable ski vacations in Canada.

For the past 35 years, the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) has been teaching physicians how to use the ancient technique of acupuncture. Acupuncture has been around for about 2500 years now, but it was only in the late 20th century that it began to take root in North America as a viable medical procedure. During the years since its founding, the AFCI has been responsible for teaching hundreds of physicians, dentists, registered nurses, physiotherapists and other medical professionals the ancient techniques of acupuncture. Combining the best of both Western knowledge and Eastern wisdom, the organization offers an outstanding 9- level training program in both anatomical and traditional acupuncture treatments.

The main focus of all of the training programs at AFCI is the patient. After all, that should be the primary concern of all medical caregivers. One of the practices that is highly-promoted is that of sending the patient on to another type of practitioner if the treatments aren’t working as they should. Think about how often you’ve gone to one doctor repeatedly for treatment of a condition only to find out later that this person was treating you incorrectly because he didn’t have the skill level you needed. You can rest assured that any acupuncturist you seek treatment from who was trained by the AFCI will not put you through the added suffering by prolonging treatments in this way.

Acupuncture has been proven to be a successful method of treating a wide variety of medical conditions. The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute has done testing to ascertain which conditions their practitioners can be successful at performing. The highest level of evidence points to the fact that acupuncture is extremely effective on lower back pain, vomiting induced by chemo, neck disorders, recurrent headaches, and vomiting following surgery. These are the conditions that sufficient studies have been conducted on and conclusive results drawn. While many other conditions are treated with acupuncture, they haven’t been subjected to the amount of clinical testing yet that these conditions have.

The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute enhances the healing effects of acupuncture for Canadians by promoting best medical practices, training professionals in the art of acupuncture, public outreach programs, government collaboration, and providing ongoing support to its members.

Canadian universities and colleges welcome more than 1,30,000 foreign students a year. Visa procedures are simple and there is great employment opportunity. Canada offers quality education at affordable tuition rates. The average cost for a foreign student for one school year (8 months) in an undergraduate program is C$11,903.

A Canadian degree, diploma or certificate is recognized as being equivalent to a US degree/diploma/certificate.

A Safe Place To Study
Canada has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. It is considered to be a relatively peaceful, safe and orderly country. Unlike in the US, firearms are strictly controlled and generally are not permitted in Canada.

Canadian Education System
In Canada, there are publicly funded and private schools including community colleges/ technical institutes, career colleges, language schools, secondary schools, summer camps, universities and university colleges. Different provinces follow different education systems.

Under the Canadian system, it isn’t necessary for children to attend kindergarten. Children who do attend kindergarten usually start at the age of four or five. All children begin Grade One (first standard in many countries) at about six years of age. The academic year normally runs from September through the following June. Secondary schools go up to Grades 11 or 12, depending on the province. Once they have completed their secondary education, students may attend university or college.

Canada has 92 universities and 175 Community colleges. Foreign students prefer to enroll in community colleges as they require only 15 years of education for a Post Graduate Diploma/certificate program. Only those who have completed 16 years of education can enroll in a university.

Cooperative education
Some Graduate Certificates/Diplomas often include a paid co-op component. It combines courses with relevant work, giving students an invaluable head start with their career. Students will also get connected to the Canadian job market. Thus the work experience is part of the curriculum.

Post-graduation work visa
The post graduation work visa is created especially for international students. This visa allows graduating students from post-secondary public institutions and some private institutions the opportunity to apply for work visa on an offer of employment in their respective field of study and give them the opportunity to gain crucial Canadian work experience in the field of their studies for a term of either one or two years.

While in Canada on a work Visa, it is also possible to have your permanent residence application processed in tandem. Once your application has been approved you will be able to continue to stay in Canada.

Getting your visa to study in Canada
If you are an international student and you want to study in Canada, you may require a temporary resident visa and a study permit. Quebec-bound students need to obtain a CAQ (Quebec Application Certificate). You may also require other documents depending on your country of origin and the type and length of study.

No study permit is required if the study program you opted for lasts for less than six months. Programs longer than six months require a study permit.

If you will be studying in a program of six months or less, but intend to continue your studies in another program after this short-term program is completed, you should apply for a study permit before you come to Canada. If you do not have a valid study permit and wish to continue your studies, you will have to leave Canada in order to apply for one.
